3 & 4: we should all care and be open to hearing another’s journey.

5: any movement should be able to accept criticism.

From my perspective, there are two problems concerning feminism that we have yet to move beyond:

One: many different voices in feminism say that its aim is equality, or that men will benefit too, but then feminism never really listens to men’s issues or takes them up.

Two: men have believed that feminism will represent them as well. Or men have only reacted to feminism, and frequently they react poorly.

Despite what the feminist movement sometime claims, men should not expect feminism to represent our issues or needs. We should develop that on our own, and we shouldn’t do it just as a reaction to feminism.
