A few things. One, while I did read the Atlantic on occasion, I'm here to write and to read other writers not on that scale. So the Atlantic and NYT leaving doesn't bother me. Two, while I love that Medium is ad free, I wouldn't mind it if ads appeared before the paywall, as long as writers got a share. Three, I wish Medium had a way for writers to categorize their work so that readers could chose what to subscribe too/get pushed to their feed. For example, I like some of your writing but not all of it, so I ended up unfollowing you, sorry Francesco!

This will undoubted be true for me as I write about three different topics; policites and social issues, mindfulness/yoga and mental health, and in a new publication focusing on Men/Men's issues. I'd really like the option for people to chose all or just one or two, to follow/have pushed to their feed.
