Don't forget Air BnB type rentals. Even though I've used them, I'd be ok if they went away. They are impacting the ability of communities to maintain neighborhoods and affordable housing. Many cities, such as mine, have changed how they view ADUs, opening it up to developers who can increase density, which is better use of land, but drop the requirement that the owner has to live there. Again these are terms that favor money and development over homeowners and community.
