Even though it seems like you’re trying to acknowledge the guy's perspective, you’re still displaying the attitude that they should pay or prove they are worthy of your time. I never expected a woman prove anything to me. I just wanted to know if they were attracted to me enough to get to know me better. Cheap first dates are just fine by me.
