For people looking for a long term, I'd take that father. No pictures, initially. Make people actually read an opening profile. They have to answer 20 questions that don't reveal too much, mostly logistical/for comparison. Then, if both parties want more, you go to the next level, give permission for both parties to view a head shot photo, another 2-3 paragraphs, and another 50 questions you have to answer, etc. I never used a swipe style dating app, I'm really glad I partnered up before that became the norm, from what I gather, it seems dehumanizing.
