Here's the thing I see people forgetting, the effectiveness of peaceful protest is in being truly vulnerable. The protests that MLK and Gandhi led were disciplined. I haven't seen that in more recent protests. No, I absolutely don’t think people should bring arms to a protest, but the two dead people didn’t seem intimidated by Rittenhouse. I don’t think we necessarily have to be intimidated by the presence of weapons, in fact, true peaceful protest depends that we are not.
