I don't understand the pull of guru/devotional worship. Every yoga lineage I have studied or practiced (Gosh, Krishnamacharya, Kripalu) has had men taking advantage of their position of influence, over people in a place/time/state vulnerable to be used. I'm highly skeptical of charismatics in religion or politics.
