I frequently suggest removing anonymity as a solution, and some people hyperventilate. They jump straight to privacy or fear of safety. But this can be addressed a number of different ways.

One, there's public facing profile which doesn't have to be a real name, but on the back end, you prove to the platform you are a real person.

Two, there's scale. Anyone with over x number of follows, has to display their real name. In other words, you can't have influence and reach without transparency.
