I think it would be more correct to say that some women make the unconscious assumption that they are inherently right about household chores and standards. With this type of woman, standards are never a conversation between two equal consenting adults. There’s little to no compromise on cleaning, how frequent, how well, etc., and they can be miserable to live with if it’s not done to their preference.

This is not to apologize for guys who are a swine or lazy or knowingly avoid their fair share. If a woman ended up with one, it’s fair for that to be a dealbreaker.
