It might be tempting to jump to the conclusion that capitalism is the problem, but that is a gigantic mistake... Money is impotent and lifeless. Money does not walk or talk, reproduce itself, or spend itself… Money cannot persuade, or force anyone, to do anything.

Actually, ‘capital,’ aka money does reproduce through interest and investment. Money is a stick and a temptation, money is greed. How do you think low status men become low status? Capitalism without guard rails essentially replaced feudalism. Capitalism, in its present form, facilitates accumulation of unearned wealth and capital in the extreme, that gives power and credence to a few, while the rest are on a treadmill. And perhaps the most insidious aspect is low status men and women have been convinced this is normal and fair.
