I’ve never understood people who feel the need to tell someone what’s wrong with their profile. If something doesn’t work for you, move on. Full stop.

However, I don’t think some of this is just a guy thing. I’ve heard lots of snark from women who comment how stupid guys look with their shirt off in photos, or holding a fish with their shirt off, or standing next to their fast car with their shirt on. I’ve heard women say that looking all stoic or hard, doesn’t work for them either.

The fact is, when we present ourselves to the world in a dating app, some things are going to appeal to some people and somethings are going to be a turn off to others.
