The notion of having a 'balanced' viewpoint on news has been corrupted. It means any wacko needs airtime. No, the viewpoint has to be grounded to some sort of reality. Conservatism has valid points, but conspiracies do not.

I blame the dismantling of the Fairness Doctrine. We need a new and improved Fairness Doctrine.
