There's some negative bro-culture in fitness, ie: going for muscles, the look, the roids.
I often suggest a martial art or yoga, especially, if the sensei isn't all macho, and if you can find a studio that also has some male instructors.
I really encourage guys to look, take some classes. If a gym, dojo, or studio's vibe doesn't feel right, don't give up, try another one.
