This. From my short time on earth, I've seen most resistance to 'no' coming from women. They don't like being told no. But ironically, they often regret being too accommodating, which leads to feeling like they've been stepped on. I find 'no' to be empowering. Furthermore, it can head off a lot of misunderstanding and resentment. Say what you want, say what you don't want, early on.
