Why I Write

A brief intro on yours truly and topics of interest.

Together, the COVID pandemic, the murder of George Floyd, and the seemingly irreconcilable differences of political parties have propelled me to engage more in the world and follow a long simmering desire to write.

My tactic is to take a personal angle, mine or someone else’s, on a contentious topic and acknowledge it. We’re so often talking past each other. I want to address what I hear, and I’d like to bring the temperature down. Sometimes, though, it requires confrontation. But always, the…
